Applications Open Now: Google India for Startups Accelerator - Apps 2025

Google has officially launched the application process for the second cohort of its Google for Startups Accelerator: Apps 2025 program in India. Supported by Google Play, the program is designed to scale AI-first mobile app startups with access to world-class resources, mentorship, and product development guidance.

The accelerator will select 20 Indian startups that are leveraging artificial intelligence to build impactful mobile applications and provide them with 3 months of intensive hybrid support from Google and industry experts.

Program Highlights

Startups selected for the accelerator will receive:

  • 1:1 Mentorship from seasoned entrepreneurs, Google engineers, and product specialists
  • AI Integration Support with tools, APIs, and expert insights from the Gemini and Google Play teams
  • Design and UX Assistance to improve app usability and engagement
  • Custom Reports with performance insights and user growth diagnostics
  • Security and Policy Guidance to meet Play Store and Android requirements

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Apps 2025 Accelerator, startups must:

  • Be incorporated in India
  • Have a live app on Google Play
  • Be seed to Series A funded
  • Be currently using or planning to use AI technologies in their mobile applications

Key Dates

  • Applications close on May 15, 2025
  • The program will kick off in July 2025 with a week-long bootcamp
  • The full accelerator will run as a 3-month hybrid program (virtual and in-person)
