Covrzy & Namma Yatri Bring Affordable Health Cover to 50 K Drivers by 2026
Bengaluru insurtech Covrzy has partnered with driver-first ride-hailing app Namma Yatri to embed health-insurance plans—priced and purchased entirely online—inside the platform’s driver app. The tie-up launches in Bengaluru with a pilot for 3,000 auto- and cab-drivers and will scale to more than 50,000 drivers and their families across 10-plus cities by 2026. Through Covrzy’s plug-and-play technology, driver-captains can compare policies, buy cover up to ₹3 lakh, and manage claims or renewals in a few taps. The move deepens Namma Yatri’s driver-well-being push while advancing Covrzy’s mission to serve India’s underserved gig workforce.
