Logistics-tech innovator Shiplog today announced a ₹6.5 crore seed investment led by Mumbai-based Deepak Bhagnani Family Office—the startup’s maiden raise since launching in 2022. Previously bootstrapped, Shiplog will channel the funds into three core areas:

  • Tech infrastructure enhancement
  • AI-driven inventory management, using predictive analytics to optimise stock levels
  • Team expansion across key verticals to support rapid growth

Currently processing over 15,000 orders every day, Shiplog specialises in 4-hour, same-day and next-day deliveries for D2C and e-commerce brands. By relying on a tech-enabled hyper-local model and a network of strategically placed dark stores, the company eliminates heavy logistics CapEx for its clients and plans to triple its monthly recurring revenue (MRR) within six months.

“These funds will catalyse our vision of revolutionising quick deliveries for D2C brands,” said co-founders Kamal Sharma, Pratik Dasgupta and Shubhangi. “Unlike traditional providers that take 3–4 days, we enable brands to meet evolving consumer expectations with reliable same-day or next-day fulfilment.”

Investor Deepak Bhagnani added, “Consumer preference has shifted decisively toward faster delivery. Shiplog’s last-mile, super-fast solutions position it to disrupt India’s logistics landscape, and we’re excited to back their journey.”

A Redseer Consulting study cited in the release projects India’s D2C market to grow at a 40 % CAGR from 2022–2027, yet fewer than 20 % of the country’s 12 million daily e-commerce orders are delivered the same day. Shiplog aims to close this gap by:

  • Locating dark stores closer to customers, slashing Return-to-Origin (RTO) rates
  • Offering real-time tracking, inventory visibility and analytics for better decision-making
  • Achieving on-time delivery within 7–8 hours for 98 % of orders while embracing electric-vehicle (EV) logistics for greener operations

With the seed capital secured, the startup plans to deepen its Delhi-NCR footprint and prepare for larger funding rounds that will extend its rapid-delivery model nationwide.
